We are keen for people of all ages in Gateshead (and beyond) to hear to hear the good news about Jesus Christ.
To that end, we hold a variety of special events over the course of each year.

ALL AGE SERVICES
Four or five times a year (at Easter, Pentecost, Harvest and Christmas - and on other special occasions)
we hold "All Age Services" on a Sunday morning (11.00am). These are designed to appeal to children and
young people and their parents/carers, and to others who aren't used to attending church services. The style
is relaxed and informal. Visual aids or props are often used to help get over a message from the Bible.

SPECIAL EVENTS
Over recent years, we have held monthly FUN & FOOD FOR ALL THE FAMILY evenings.
Our programme has included Quiz Nights, Film Evenings, Summer Barbecues and Seasonal Specials at Christmas and Easter.
Games Nights have also proved very popular. Table tennis, pool, snooker, table soccer, and carpet bowls have all been on offer,
together with a variety of board games. Food is always provided - free of course!
The aim of these evenings is to make contact with those living in the area around the church building, as well as provide an opportunity for church members to invite their friends to a
church-based activity. The evenings are open to people of all ages - children, young people, adults and seniors - and provide a good
opportunity for people of all ages to mix socially in a relaxed and safe environment. We aim to give everyone a good time at these evenings;
but we also see them as providing a bridge into our other church activities - including our weekly clubs and Sunday Services.
