We are keen at Durham Road Baptist Church to see whole families in the Gateshead area challenged by the good news about Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

CAFE MEZZANINE - The new name for our FOOD AND FUN FOR ALL THE FAMILY evenings.
Once a month, normally on the second Tuesday of the month, we hold a fun night for all ages. Our programme
includes events such as Games Nights, when children, young people and their parents/grandparents/carers can get
together and play table tennis, pool, snooker, table soccer, carpet bowls - and try their hand at a variety of board games.
In the summer, we hold one or two barbecues - weather permitting! Other activities have included our popular 'seasonal specials'
at Easter and Christmas.
The aim of these evenings is to make contact with those living in the area around the church building, to give everyone a good time - but also to provide a bridge
to our clubs, Sunday Services, and other church activities. The evenings
are open to people of all ages - children, young people, adults and seniors - and provide a good opportunities for people to mix socially in a relaxed and safe environment.
Food is always provided - free of course!
See the events diary, or contact Revd David Hunt, for our programme over the coming months.

ALL AGE SERVICES
Four or five times a year (at Harvest, Christmas, Easter and Pentecost - and on other special
occassions) we hold "All Age Services" on a Sunday morning (11.00am). These are aimed particularly
at children and young people and their parents/carers, and at others who aren't used to attedning church services.
The style is relaxed and informal. Visual aids or props are often used to help get over a message from the Bible.
Why not come and join us for our next one? See the events diary for details."
