Earlier this year we listened to the New Testament with the help of the 'You've got time' initiave and participated in Tom Wright's 'The Big Read' focussed on Matthew's Gospel in the run up to Easter. Last year we used the Life Builder Study Guide on the Life of Elija ('Living securely in an insecure world'), as well as various DVD's (Eden DVD, Imagine DVD, etc) for our small groups. During Lent we participated in the 'Big Read' by bishop Tom Wright. In 2009, our Small Groups studied the Beautitudes, based on Philip Jensen's booklet 'The Good Living Guide'. Prior to this series we learned more about Baptism and Church Membership, and what the Spirit has to say to the churches in Reveleation. We also studied great prayers of the Bible as part of our Small Groups programme. In preparation for the J John Just 10 mission in spring 2008 we ran the courses 'Christianity Explored' and 'Breaking News' designed to help us share our faith with other people. During the Just 10 series we supported the events through weekly prayer meeting in small groups Our midweek meetings from May to July 2007 featured bible studies in the life of David under the overall theme 'A Man after God's own heart'. From January to March 2007 we studied the book of Daniel under the heading 'Faith under Fire'. In the run up to Easter 2006, we ran the 40 Days of Purpose Course, using small groups at various times during the week and in various locations. Between Easter 2006 and the summer of 2006, we ran the CPAS 'Lost for Words' course using small groups at various times during the week and in various locations.
